Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is a Hollywood writer and actor who's talent has brought the attention of critics and recognition. Sagittarius is her birth name, and she was born in North Carolina on 3 December 1960. She is one of the three children of Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a paratrooper. She is of English as well as Scottish heritage. Moore's dad moved around frequently due to his work. It was it difficult for her to meet and keep friendships. After her family relocated to Germany Moore went to Frankfurt American High School where she started appearing in performances. She graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Boston University. Moore graduated in 1983, with the degree of B.F.A. Moore moved in New York after graduating and began her career with off-broadway stage. Moore made her debut on screen in 1985 when she appeared on an episode in the show The Edge of Night. It was in 1986 that she made her breakthrough in which she was cast as the character as Sabrina Hughes as well as Frannie Hughes in the show The World Changes. In 1988, she was a part-time actress on the show and received a Daytime Emmy Award. Her film debut came in 1990 when she starred in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie that she later described as a horrible low-budget movie. Short Cuts was produced by Robert Altman in 1993 and 3 Women was released in 1997. For the former, Moore won numerous awards as well as praise from critics. Moore had her first major part in Safe, a 1995 film. Steven Spielberg gave Moore her first leading role in the film Safe (1995). In 1997, her career as this actress reached a pivotal stage. She was tapped in the role of Jurassic Park: The Lost World. The movie was one of the most popular films in 1997. In 1999, she was a part of the critically-acclaimed Magnolia and received a SAG Award nomination in recognition of her work. The Hours starred Moore in 2002. It was also nominated by Nine Academy Awards along with Nicole Kidman. Moore has also starred in The Forgotten (2004), Freedomland 2006, Shelter 2010, etc. Non-Stop aired in the year 2014. Moore was a regular in many films and television programs. In the most recent, she appeared as the lead character in You Finish Saving The World (2022). In Hollywood, she has also become a published author for kids. In 2007, she published Freckleface Strawberry and quickly became a N.Y.T. It became a top seller, and was later made into a TV series and musical. The author also released her book My Mom's a Foreigner in the year 2013. Moore's private life was revealed as she is a popular author and actress. She split from John Robin in 1995. Bart Freundlich has given her two kids. Moore later got married to him in 2003.
