Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was a member and the captain of 2012's Fierce Five as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. In the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold on both the team floor as well as the individual competitions. Bronze was taken by her balance bar. In 2012, she became one of the few American athlete to earn the most number of medals in the Olympics. In the 2016, Olympics she won a gold medal in the team event which earned her along with her teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of been among the few Americans to win back-to-back team golds. In addition, she won two silver medals in the floor exercise and the individual all-around. Three years had passed between her last appearance in competition gymnastics. Furthermore, she was a member of two gold medal-winning American gymnastics squads. As a young girl, she began to learn gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is floor workouts. Aly participates in The Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization in memory and honor of her mother. Aly is planning to pursue a career as a designer. The next goal she has is growing her range of leotards. The book she is working on is titled Fierce that will be released later this year.
